Welcome to Daleel Dhi Qar, a local service discovery platform for Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and how you can control it.

By using the app, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

a. Account Information (upon registration):

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Password (encrypted)
• Gender
• Date of birth
• City
• Interests
• Occupation

b. Photos and Files:

• Profile photo (avatar) you choose to upload
• Images attached to service listings you publish

c. Location Data:

We collect your GPS location only while you are actively using the app — to show nearby services and to place service listings on the map. We do not track your location in the background.

d. User-Generated Content:

• Reviews and ratings you submit
• Services you add to your favorites
• Service listings you publish
• Reports you file against content

e. Device and Notification Data:

• FCM token (to deliver push notifications to your device)
• Operating system type (Android)

• Create, manage, and verify your account
• Display local services near your location
• Enable you to publish and manage service listings and reviews
• Send push notifications about your account and services
• Personalize content based on your interests and location
• Moderate content to ensure compliance with our policies
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Communicate with you about updates or changes to the service

We rely on trusted service providers to operate the app. These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes:

We may disclose your data only in the following circumstances:

• With your explicit consent
• When required by law or court order
• To protect users and the platform from fraud or abuse

When you publish a service listing, the associated information (name, description, location, photos, contact details) becomes publicly visible to all app users. Reviews and ratings you write are also visible to other users alongside your display name.

Please do not include sensitive personal information you would not want others to see within service listings or reviews.

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Uploaded images: Deleted when the associated service or account is removed.
• Reviews and ratings: May be retained in anonymized form after account deletion.
• FCM token: Deleted on sign-out or account deletion.
• Local cache: Stored on your device and automatically cleared when the app is uninstalled.

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update inaccurate information via your profile in the app
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data via app settings or by contacting us
• Objection: Object to certain ways we process your data
• Opt-out of notifications: Disable push notifications at any time via device settings
• Location: Deny location permission (note: some features will not work without it)

This app is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has registered an account, we will delete their data immediately.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all communications
• Encrypted password storage (never stored in plain text)
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies in Supabase to control database access
• Encrypted JWT tokens for authentication
• Regular review of access permissions and privileges

Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We recommend using a strong, unique password and not sharing it with anyone.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via an in-app notice or push notification. The "Last Updated" date at the top of the page always reflects the most current version. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
